Find the best 30 day SIM only deal for you

What is a 30 day SIM only deal?
A 30 day SIM only or a one month SIM only, is pay monthly SIM Only deal. Unlike 12 month sim only deals or 24 month sim only deals, a 30 day sim only deal usually provides much better value for money.
As the name suggests not only do you get better value for money, but you also are not committed to any long term contracts. Most 30 day sim only deals allow you to cancel by giving 30 days notice. Some allow you to cancel just by not paying for the next month, these include the likes or GiffGaff or Smarty Mobile.
Otherwise 30 day or 1 month sim only deals are the same as every other SIM only deal, whereby you pay a fee for a set allowance of data, calls and texts. Longer term SIM Only deals may come with bigger benefits or incentives, but there are also some very good 30 day sim only deals too.
How do 30 day SIM Only deals work?
30 day SIM Only deals work identically to their longer 12 month and 24 month counterparts.
The key difference is in the name, and that is that you are only legally committee to stay with them for 30 days, and can leave by giving 30 days notice.
30 day SIM Only deals offer much better value for money that pay as you go SIM cards and you do not need to worry about remembering to top up or converting your top up into a bundle. At the end of each month your 30 day or 1 month SIM card automatically renews or rolls over for another month unless you have explicity asked your network to cancel.
What happens after 30 days?
After your intial 30 days your sim only deal will automatically renew. This will continue to happen until you ask your network to cancel, this can be done usually by giving them a call or doing so via the networks mobile app. Most 30 day SIM only deals will require 30 days notice in order to cancel your monthly subscription.
Don't forget you can also port your number onto your SIM only deal and then off to another network once done. There is no limit on how many times you can do this. Read our handy guide here for more info.
Do I need to pass a credit check for a 30 day SIM only?
This largely depends on the network. Smaller networks such as Smarty, Lebara, VOXI and GiffGaff don't apply credit checks, some other networks may still check your credit score.
Although there are credit checks, this are much lighter, less stringent and easier to pass than if you were applying for a pay monthly, 12 month SIM only deal or 24 month SIM only deal due to less risk for the networks.
